Technical
Many images on this site were made with a Kodak Master field camera, using 8x10, 5x7 and 4x5 backs. The lens of first choice was a Schneider 305mm G-Claron and the film was generally Ilford HP5 or Kodak Tri-X, developed in PMK Pyro or HC-110.
These film-based photographs were contact printed—that is, the negative printed in direct contact with the photographic paper, not enlarged. The silver gelatin contact prints were made on Ilford, Forte and Bergger papers. Other prints, made via the platinum/ palladium process, were on Arches Platine or Bergger's COT 320.
The digital work is largely shot with Nikon or Canon systems and printed on one of several Epson printers, using archival inks and papers.
That's the quick tech tour. For all the gory details feel free to contact me and I'll try to clarify.
